Amorphous resin polymerized of methylmethacrylate. PMMA is a clear material that can be used as a replacement for glass. PMMA is commonly used in automotive rear lighting, lenses and other optical applications. PMMA is also used in signs made from extruded plastic sheets and in plastic optical fibre.
